From clean drinking water to ‘tumor on a disc,’ these USF inventors are getting national attention

Three University of South Florida faculty members have been tapped as fellows for the National Academy of Inventors. It is the highest honor given to academic inventors. Subhra Mohapatra, PhD, a professor of molecular medicine at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, was one of three USF faculty members recently selected as new National Academy of Inventors (NAI) Fellows. Dr. Mohapatra is a pioneering scientist/researcher whose work over 26 years has been instrumental in advancing the frontiers of drug delivery and cancer treatment (USF Health).
